One question: Did you see how KG treated Ray when he tried to greet him during the season opener?
He would have to be the biggest hypocrite in the world to waive his no-trade clause and join LA. Yes, his family is there but there are no problems between him and his family right now while he is playing for Boston.

He's about to turn 37 though. Why would it be an,act of betrayal? Boston wants to rebuild as well. Plus Ray went to a rival Heat team, not the same.

Not an act of betrayal but indirectly admitting the Clippers are a better team than the C's and that he would rather leave to pursue a second ring than to stay and retire with the team that got him his one and only ring.
Boston does need to retool not rebuild but gaining a washed-up Caron Butler and a PG like Bledsoe for one season (Before Rondo gets back) is'nt my idea of rebuilding nor should it be in the best interests of any Celtics fan.
Yes, he's old and would rather shoot a fadeaway from deep 2 then take it inside. But he's KG and i just don't see him not retiring a Celtic.

Ray back-stabbed contending Celtics and went to play their biggest rivals.
If Ainge tells KG: "I cant get this team to contend anymore, and blowing it all up. Could you agree to trade <xxx>, so your contract wouldnt be holding rebuilding Celtics?"
As you can see, its a complete opposite of what Ray did. He harmed his team, while KG by leaving would help his rebuilding team. Provided, Ainge wants to blow it up. If he doesnt - KG isnt going anywhere, and will retire as Celtic as he said he would.
