Anyone else believe the Pacers could beat the Heat in a playoff series?

Current Heat would smoke these guys in a 7 game series. 4 game sweep or 5 game massacre.

Nice way to just take something and completely run with it...So because a team has a 50/50 shot means the teams are equal? No, it means a team matches up well with the other....I'm not saying the Pacers will win but what I am tired of seeing people like sit there and talk about how much Miami has improved and gloss over the fact that Indiana has also improved....a have someone to protect the rim now when Hibbert goes out which they DID NOT have last year...When Hibbert when to the bench, it was layup city for Miami. Paul George is twice the player he was last year...Lance stephenson has emerged as an important role player and David west who was NOT 100% last year is fully healed from his ACL injury. Now I've acknowledge what Miami and Indiana do well but some people are going to sit here and just prop up the Heat based on what they did LAST year and not even off of what they're doing this year, and act like the rest of the NBA doesnt exist, well then lets just cancel the rest of the season, give Miami the rings, and close the forums...

They couldn't beat the Heat without Chris Bosh and being up 2-1 at home? Definitely won't beat the Heat but they would be a tough match up.

Yea. We beat them without Bosh on their own home floor down 2-1. Odds are we should win the series.

However, they scare me more than any team in the East. Not a good matchup.

They match up pretty well. If Granger is ready come playoffs and the team builds some momentum to finish the regular season, they will be a tough team to beat.

Nope. But I fear them most than any other team in the East or West. Rose won't be fully healed until next season so even if the Heat face the Bulls during the playoffs I won't be worried.

Can they beat the Heat? Sure. The playoffs are about matchups. Depends on how Granger fits in when he returns and Hibbert has to play like he did last season.

Not since the HEat would get a few more calls. If it was perfectly even it COULD happen, but it never would due to official control.

The only difference this season is that this series could likely go to 7 games, but other than that I don't think the Pacers have the intangibles needed to win this series.

Paul and Danny are going to have to become Jalen and Reggie in the PO's and Hibbert needs to regain his shooting touch around the rim.

Pacers are much improved from last year, our defense is unreal and we legitimately have 7 guys that could drop 15+ on any given night.
