Waiters? He should have been one of the very first selections... 15 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal per game. There is no argument against him being in this game.
And, if you are going to use FG% as your only gauge, you are going to have to remove 3/4 of the team.

Zeller plays 7 more minutes than Sullinger and averages 2 more rebounds. Round this to per-36 averages and Sully leads in both rebounding and scoring at 11 and 10.7.
Zeller on the other hand averages 10.6 and 7.9 per 36.
Sully also shoots 7% better from the field (Approx) and has a higher Efficiency rating.

Like I said, arguments can be made against Zeller. Then again, Tyler was playing much better in a supporting role off the bench. His play has declined since he was forced to play heavy minutes in place of injured Varejao.
He just wasn't quite ready for that kind of leap yet. I was sort of surprised he was on the team, to be totally honest.
Again, though... Waiters needs to be on there. Arguably as the starting 2.
Rookie vs. Sophomore isn't fair. I'm not even sure of the record, but my guess is Sophomore's have won almost every time. This year would be no different.

Rookies actually won the last 2 times it was that format. I just hate the current format though. It makes takes away how memorable the game is because there is no meaning to it without the players fighting for bragging rights of the cohort.
I understand the entertainment value of this game but if players tried to make it less like the all star game and more like a real competitive match, IMO would be more interesting.

What they need to do is save this exhibition shit until the season is over.

2. Sully is coming off the bench. Is Zeller were coming off the bench he'd have higher FG% and better efficiency.
Not saying Zeller is better or Sully is better, Sully plays a more all star type game and Zeller is more of a workhorse type of C, at least at this point. I don't think either player is all the great TBH. Sully is doing better than I expected and i think KG is the absolute perfect mentor for him.
Probably not. Now that he's in the varsity all-star game he will probably take it easy in the rookie/sophomore game like Griffin did the last couple of years. They want to save their energy for the main event.
