It doesn't stop all of them, but enough of them are immature enough to care about rep that it reduces a good chunk of them IMO. I think the quality of the NBA Forum this season is at an all time low.

Once you realize the NBA forum is useless for decent basketball discussion and you leave that for the OTC, you'll have a better time.

I actually spend way more time in the OTC. But the NBA forum has now become more ridiculous than the OTC forum. The difference is, the OTC is set up for some ridiculousness, while (in theory) the NBA forum should be about actual NBA conversations.

The quality here skyrocket. Thus bringing in more members ultimately. This has to turn off any new people that come

I can't have a single game thread go without someone complaining about the Heat getting all the calls. It was bad enough when it was just Wade and everyone talked about how coddled he was. Now we have Lebron on the team too, and eventually you just fight fire with fire.

Start a thread in one of the other forums on the site, and we can have a decent chat, but here, too much trolling, so you might as well join in.

Yeah, I'm sure any prospective posters that come in on a Laker game day (or really any day for that matter) see that it is just filled with nonsense and they don't come back.
