Re: What were the best trade/s in the past decade?
Celtics trading for Ray and KG.
They were building up to those trades for soooooo long...finally seeing them pulled off and then winning a title less than year after putting that team together was really pretty special.

who were the other players/picks that were involved in the deals?
Re: What were the best trade/s in the past decade?
The lakers trade for gasol was a great trade for both sides. The lakers got the final piece they needed to lock in their championship runs and the Griz got to dump cap space with kwame and get a great young center for cheap who is one o their best players in Marc gasol

highway robbery especially if Griz never gets a championship in Marc Gasol era.

Celts sent Jeff Green's rights with Wally Szerbiack and Delonte West to Seattle...got back Ray and Big Baby's rights.
KG was got in exchange for Al Jeff, Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff, Gerald Green and I think our 09 first rounder AND we gave back the first-rounder in 09 that we got in the deal that got Ricky Davis the f*ck out of Boston. I think there was cash in there, too. I might have got some of that wrong...memory's a bit spotty.

Absolutely not. Both teams got exactly what they hoped out of it. Griz were not winning the championship with pau gasol so how does that even factor in?

it's a trade of gasol for kwame and fillers. basically, lakers got Gasol for nothing. how is that not lopsided? especially back then when you did not have the benefit of foresight? i could've gotten a better deal out of Gasol, IMO (like better/more draft picks, and a more effective cheap player somewhere else).

The Celtic fan in me has to mention the back-to-back trades for Ray and KG. The trade for KG was a 1 for 7 trade, making it the most players traded for one guy in NBA history.
Sheed going to Detroit pretty much pushed them over the hump. I'd say that's big.
Gasol to LA made them relevant again, won them 2 titles.
James Harden to Houston shouldn't be looked over. Huge deal. It's a bit tough because it was motivated by cap concerns, but I think it still deserves to be mentioned.

Your criteria was that the trade was a win win for both teams... Because you have a thing against the lakers that criteria suddenly doesn't matter?
