Can you watch movie scenes where dudes get raped?

Do those scenes disturb you?

Yeah they disturb me, but I can watch them.

I find scenes in which dudes cut their own limb off a la 127 Hours far harder to watch.

Watching Boys Dont Cry at 16 was kind of worse for me. Its kind of f*cked up seeing as how its transgender, gangbang, and a true story. I was probably hyperfocused (hypo manic) at that time, which certainly didnt help.


But just male rape isnt bad, whats bad is when a director finds a way to make a visceral scene were anything horrible happens. Its not exclusive to male rape. Female rape can often be worse seeing as how if it were to happen to someone you know, you would be incapable of helping the situation by aiding in healing the damage. This is assuming that the person watching utilizes empathy or sympathy in the watching process.

Rape scenes can be very disturbing, since it's a depiction of rape. It's torture infliction upon a person.

Has anyone watched that prison show OZ it was beast but man everytime I seen two dudes kiss or one getting raped I just had to look the other way.
