I'm surprised Pau's actually been playing well since the move, but he's a sensitive guy. I'm afraid he'll sulk and stop playing as hard as he has lately.

Uh huh and when LA starts losing again then we get back on the coach right? I don't care what any of you say...that game was closer than it should have been last night in the 4th
Re: Pau Gasol is revealing himself as a very selfish player
Actually I see Pau having a meaner streak though. Its a shame he and Dwight can't play together effectively for long spurts. Many times Clark at PF looked better with Dwight.
Re: Pau Gasol is revealing himself as a very selfish player
Wow. Pau wanted to be and should have been in the game. You make opponents adjust to you, not the other way around.
D'antoni is a very weak minded coach. He has an incredibly talented team and he doesn't know how to use any of our strengths, he makes us adjust to opponents which is the wrong way to go about things.
Same thing with his system, which is why we're in such a big hole right now. He had the players adjust to his system, he didn't adjust his system to accomodate his players.
Both decisions he made are the sign of a bad coach. If Pau were a scrub, then sure, we adjust for Anderson. He's Pau Gasol, run the offense through Pau to punish them for leaving Anderson in the game. Make them adjust.

Please name me the other teams where he would not be good enough to start.
What relevance is other teams lineups if he's not on them? He's on the Lakers. He's a worst center than Howard and hasn't shown himself to be any better than Earl Clark at PF.
If he wants to start and play more minutes then stop being one of the least efficient bigs in the league and play some defense for a change.
