Clippers - Maybe as long as 4/5 years.
Knicks - 2 years then they will need to retool around Melo/Chandler/Shump
Grizzles - Several Years.
Warriors - Don't feel they can get out of West.
Basing these above teams as contenders given their record so far...
Teams have different levels of chances, like i would rather have the HEat's window for 1 year than the Knicks window for 5 or the Warriors for 10.
Re: What are the top contenders championship windows?
Heat - as long as lebron is elite (5-7 years)
Thunder - as long as Durant is elite (8-10 years)
Spurs - 2-3 years
Clippers - As long as cp3 + blake remain healthy/in LA
Knicks - 0 years they suck
Grizzles - looks like they're gonna trade gAy soon so maybe this year that's it
Warriors - toughest one. they're pretty young - i'll go 3-4 years.
Re: What are the top contenders championship windows?
Heat and Thunder basically have until contracts run out or 5 years counting primes. Although Thunder can even go longer than that. Everyone else is on a year to year basis. Spurs, Clips, Grizz.. all can bottom out in the next could of years, they are too many unresolved variables. If CP3 leaves the Clips they go from true contenders to just merely strong competition.
