honestly, if the pistons want to stay in this game, they need to play 2 of monroe, maxiell, and drummond at the same time. Unless frank realizes he has their best hustle player/x factor glued to the bench in JJ.
Remember when people used to talk about how LeBron and Wade is a 'bad' fit? 2 Top 3 PER finishes so far for both of 'em, 2 NBA Finals, 1 championship and with the way Wade's turned it on the last few games, another Top 3 PER finish for him is a definite possibility. He's currently 7th. Think about that for a second. 2 teammates finishing Top 3 in PER for 3 consecutive seasons. Not bad for a 'bad fit'.
Truly so. That's the worst stretch I've seen the Pistons have in a long time, but there's a reason for that. The Pistons (largely Knight) just were not ready to handle pressure like that, it was almost like watching a high school game against an overmatched opponent.
That said, the Pistons are still sticking around here.
