But that was the original franchise. And if that is the case, does Seattle get to start claiming an extra championship?

People in Sacramento dont even root for the Kings, so no, I would not expect for Seattle to root for them this season.

They will presumably be known as the SuperSonics but their team history will from the Rochester-Cincinnati-Kansas City-Sacramento lineage since that is the path they took to arriving in Seattle.

I thought in the original deal with the selling of the Sonics, they agreed that the city would retain the history of the sonics until they can get a new team.
