- The Nets are the only team in the NBA that has gone undefeated in January (6-0). The Celtics and Nuggets are both 6-1.

- Under Avery Johnson (14-14), the Nets had a plus-0.1 points per game differential. Under P.J. Carlesimo (8-1), the Nets have had a plus-8.7 points per game differential. Their rebound differential has also gone from plus-0.8 under Johnson to plus-7.0 under Carlesimo, the best in the NBA.

- Since Dec. 28, when Carlesimo took over, the Nets are averaging 109.5 points per 100 possessions, which ranks them third in the league in offensive efficiency behind only the Thunder (110.0 per 100) and the Raptors (109.6).
