Has very nice moves but he's also turned it over 3 times. Needs to tighten up that handle. Even on one of his scores he fumbled the ball after his spin move.
What player past or present is he most compared too? Everyone raves about his athleticism but is it just leaping ability or speed, lateral agility, the whole package?
So far in this game he looks great in the post and loves that spin move, though the last time he turned it over.

All he does is spin off players with his athleticism.
Not saying the assessments are wrong, but remember, it's just one game.
This is my 3rd full game of his. He's looked similar other times too. Obviously 3 games is nothing too, but this one seems to be in line with the others. He hasn't shot as much as usual, and he's finished everything so far (he misses some easy ones normally).
A lot of scouts rave about his defense, but so far I haven't seen good man to man defense, just a couple of blocks from his athleticism.
He's score more than half of his team's points, missed one field goal all game, and he has the flu.
This wasn't a great half to see what he's about, but he's not playing poorly by any means.
Oh it's definitely not a bad half so far and he is playing well, I think some people just assumed because he's so hyped that his game would be farther along, but they forget this guy hasn't even started his college career, so of course his game will mostly be athleticism.

I've seen him play for Canada a few times as well. Its not that he is playing bad, he just hasn't displayed much skill wise beside his immense god given gifts. Id hoped he developed more. But tbf, I'm comparing him to guys like Kobe, Lebron and Melo.
He's definitely more raw than I remember LeBron being as a senior in high school. Don't remember Carmelo, though.
LeBron was very raw as well though. Actually coming into the NBA, his spin move was his go to move as well. Wiggins is quicker and has an equal vertical, but LeBron was bigger and faster. LeBron also had better handles, but Wiggins has a better shot. They're at least close.

Lebron was not raw in high school. He just had a bad jump shot. He was running that offense like an elite pig and had an NBA level handle and passing ability. Wiggins looks good, but Lebron was another animal.

My memories of LeBron are a little foggy. I was in 9th grade and just in awe of him the few times I saw him play. I just remember him having a better handle than this, but his jumper was broken. I guess the ability for him to get about anywhere he wanted with a better handle than Wiggins put of the illusion of being more polished? I don't know. That, and LeBron looked like a man-child in high school, whereas Wiggins doesn't.

I feel he was close to Wiggins. He had no post game, undeveloped man to man defense, and a poor jumper. He was very athletic, had good ball handling, and of course was a great playmaker and could run the offense. Wiggins is similar in that he's missing some big things, but he's also got a couple of things better than LeBron did - his jumper and post game are better.
