Default Who will take a chance on Andrew Bynum next season?

So it's looking like Bynum won't be playing a game for the Sixers at all this season and his contract is expiring. Assuming he won't be resigned by Philly, what other NBA teams will take a chance on him? The Heat? Thunder? Will he be seeking a max contract? Will he still have his afro?

I'd wager Philly will re-sign him.

I'd love him on the Celts, just what we need. Philly will keep him though.

Any team with caproom will take a chance on him. When healthy he's easily a top 2 center (arguably best). And even though im almost 100% sure he wont ever play a full 82 game season, i think with the right medical staff and coaching, he can play 70 games a season and a full playoff run as the best player.

Any team will get better with a healthy Bynum, even if he doesn't play 82.

Why is that? They have more room to sign someone else to a max contract who will actually play most of the season.

I could see the Cavs go after him.

Anyway, he is a huge gamble and I doubt any team that wants to win a championship in the next 2-3 years will after him.
He might be healthy and you win games, but if he is injured, then the team that got him will be paying a huge contract and at the same time have a huge hole at the center spots. A team that signs Bynum will have no good backup center to replace him for a whole season.

Stay away!

I think the Lakers might sign him after letting Dwight go. The owner would make Kobe say "I am sorry! I will give you the ball from now on!
