Larry Allen (G/T)
Jerome Bettis (RB)
Tim Brown (WR)
Cris Carter (WR)
Curley Culp (DT/G)
Edward DeBartolo Jr. (owner)
Kevin Greene (LB)
Charles Haley (DE)
Art Modell (owner)
Jonathan Ogden (OT)
Bill Parcells (coach)
Andre Reed (WR)
Dave Robinson (LB)
Warren Sapp (DT)
Will Shields (G)
Michael Strahan (DE)
Aeneas Williams (CB)
only 7 of these guys can get in...Sapp, Ogden, Strahan, and Allen all first-year candidates and IMO should all get in 1st ballot
Allen and Ogden are possibly (Madden would say yes) the best players to ever play their position. Michael Strahan is getting in. Sapp, I can see not get in on the first ballot. Will Shields should get in. Aeneas Williams should be getting in. Parcells is getting in and I think Chris Carter gets in. I think I see Sapp not getting in on the first. Sapp is not ahead of Williams and this isn't Williams' first season.
With that said, I think Sapp, Shields, Williams, Bettis fight for the last two spots...and I think Williams gets in already so probably the other three for the last spot...and I just noticed Tim Brown...so I guess it's a little more complicated than it should be.
Bettis is the weakest link of the players. Sapp shouldn't be a 1st balloter. Shields is rather underrated. Allen and Ogden certainly aren't the best at their positions. Allen might be the strongest, though.

So who do you think at those two positions? Allen and Ogden are arguable as the best at their positions.
Sapp is a 1st ballot hall-of-famer. The problem is this rule of having a max number of guys get in. Allen, Ogden, Strahan, Parcells (no one can argue this), Chris Carter, Aeneas Williams...these should be the first 6. Williams has been on it for a couple years, hasn't he? I'm pretty sure he's an All-90's guy. He's one of the best ever. Time for him to get in. Same for Chris Carter, who is just hated by some writers. The 7th guy...I'd take Warren Sapp, but with him as a 1st ballot guy, then I could argue Will Shields or Tim Brown or Charles Haley.
Kevin Greene...that man was an absolute monster. I think his career was long enough, so he's up there.
I always thought Sapp was overrated. His mouth was far bigger than his talent. Plus, I just don't like seeing such a gigantic douchebag get welcomed in with open arms. Make him wait. If you go by just credentials, then Shields has more than Sapp. 12x Pro Bowler, 8x All Pro, and wasn't a loudmouth ****head like Sapp. He also won Walter Payton Man of the Year and a Ed Block Courage Award.

Top Tackle - Munoz
Top Guard - Hannah
I thought you'd say Munoz.
I'm fine with that. I just think it's very arguable.
