His finishing is beyond elite, just a tad below LeBron level.
His driving is elite, near Wade level.
His shooting is near elite, just a tier below the pure shooting shooters like Allen and Curry.
Irving is an offensive God

He's already, at this point, elite on certain nights.
He's not an all-star this year, but he's terrific.

Agree. He needs some help. When Alonzo Gee is your second best player (With Varejao out) you aint winnin many games.

Re: Kyrie Irving is unbelievable.
I've only seen a few Cleveland games(I promised myself to watch more because of Kyrie
) and this guy is a franchise player. He's this good as a 2nd year player, what more in his 5th year? 8th year? If he continues to be healthy, consistent, and on a good team, he's gonna take the Cavs to the promise land.

Watched Kyrie single-handedly dismantle my Celtics at the Garden last year, including hitting the game winner. He's only gonna get better as long as he stays healthy.

He's in the top 10-15 range so not far off. 23/6/4/1.5 ish. Only real knock is his bad defense. Also he's more in the Rose mold than the CP3 mold where he "carries" the Cavs rather than making teammates significantly better.

Alonzo Gee is NOT the Cavs' second best player with Varejao out.
I just posted a thread about this... Tristan Thompson is averaging 13 points, 13 rebounds and over a block a game on 51% shooting since Andy got hurt. And, the Cavs are 3-3 in their last six.
Also, CJ Miles has been playing great the last few weeks.

alonzo fell in love with his jumper over the summer. he takes at least 2 or 3 terrible jumpers every game.
its like he forgot what got him paid, still playing good defense though.

Don't sleep on Zeller. He shows great promise as a true Center.

Re: Kyrie Irving is unbelievable.
Hey Cavs fans, how's Kyrie's defense?
This superb breakdown leads me to believe his defense is abysmal, but I've watched very little of him, so I'd like some more opinions.
