pretty much. except arenas been to the playoffs. and im sure kyrie will never bring a gun to work as well.
so hes like a better attitude version of arenas. expecting him to drop 60 on 40 yr old kobe soon.
Arenas didn't make the playoffs until he was in Washington. Even Durant and LeBron missed the postseason their first two seasons. Its not his fault he is surrounded mostly by crap.
Scoring wise their similar as they are both open as soon as they walk in the gym, Arenas wishes he had the handles and some of the move (eurosteps, over the head dribbles) that Kyrie does on the regular, he might have the best handle in the league.
Someone said Kyrie = AI w/ a jumpshot in last night's game thread. I think that is a more accurate comparison. Arenas was never able to get to the rim at will like Kyrie can, nor did he have the handles or passing ability/court vision that Kyrie has.
Kyrie can get to the rim like AI, dish like Rondo, and shoot like Nash. He's pretty much the complete offensive package.
surely more than 11 wins though. oh yeah, we shouldnt blame 30 losses on a 20 year old. but when they do win, its always him who gets the credit. get back to me when he learns the word defense.
Defense is never important to your boy Melo. You just don't like Kyrie Irving its fine man we all know. To be perfectly honest I don't think this team would have more wins with Westbrook on it and I love the dude. This team is horrendous but you wouldn't know because you dont actually watch cavs games.

Except Kyrie is better at almost everything. Areans was quicker at getting to the rim and more explosive. Irving is a better shooter, way better ball handler, more efficient, way better at finishing around the rim, and way better off the ball player. Westbrook is Steve Francis 2.0, with the same garbage b-ball IQ and hero-ball complex. Guy is going to be f.ucking trash like Rose when his athleticism fades.
I love watching this kid play. So much talent, skill, and heart. Dazzling flash with definite substance and a ton of room to grow. Cleveland's future is brighter than the sunrise reflecting off Lebron's forehead. Btw, he'd better not be allowed back in 2014. They owe that to Kyrie's development.
