Default Obvious truths that are no longer obvious

Wow, there are some real idiots on this board.

People, these are some basic truths:
  1. The best shot is an open shot
  2. The best shot is close to the basket
  3. The more shots one takes that are open and near the basket, the better
  4. By taking close and open shots, one becomes a better shooter
  5. That is all

no. you're wrong. the 22 ft fadeaway is the best shot in basketball because when it goes in, it looks really cool.

And remember, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Dunks are worth 3 points. Smokee said so, it must be true.

Crossovers, dunks, highlight reel moves are more important than fundamentals, mid-range jumpers...

True because Dirk and Kobe are the only player in the league that can hit fadeaway shot consistently.. It looks like a normal lay up for them..
