Default would any team pay David Lee 10 million/year?

Knicks GM said they dont want him for 10 million a season

Think any teams will pay 10/million season for an 6'9 efficient rebounder/scorer?

First of all, link to above?

Secondly, the Knicks should not bid against themselves. There's only 3 teams with big time cap space....Pistons, Thunder, and Grizzlies. I don't see any of those teams paying Lee 10 million a year.

So basically, Knicks need to be careful not to give lee too much for no reason. I'd offer Lee a 5 year, $40 million deal, with the least amount per year in 2010. I don't think Lee will get a better offer from those 3 teams as mentioned.

Lee led the NBA in double-doubles this past season with 65 and his marketability will soar if he re-signs in New York. Sources say GM Donnie Walsh wants to sign him but not if Lee's asking price is $10 million per year. It's doubtful he'll get that offer, with most teams saving cap room for 2010.

6-8 million a year most likely. Unless a team wants him really bad right now.

Yea, I wish there was some way the Cavs could get him. I'm hoping some how in the off season they can get someone like David Lee, Paul Millsap or Charlie Villanueva.

$10 million a year could be a reach for David Lee..He's not worth quite that much although he's a decent double double guy who I would value at 6 or 7 million perhaps. I could be wrong though, the knicks paid almost $10 million last season to Eddy Curry (the 300lbs barfridge). Only the Knicks would do that though.

Several teams will be willing to pay 10 million a year for him if they had the cap room.

Chandler, Biedrins, Kaman, Dalembert are just a few big men who get paid 10 million or more per year. Lee is short and isn't a real center like the guys I mentioned but he gets more double doubles than anybody in the league and can clearly play. Him getting 10 million a year should be pretty straight forward in my opinion. If he doesn't get it, it's because of so many NBA teams losing money these days. 5 years ago, Lee would easily get 10 million plus. EASILY
