Re: LA FCUKED: if ther's another setback, Nash could miss season
Listen, don't panic.....even if Nash is out, the Lakers have a great deal of talent. I'm sure Mike D'Antoni, with his experiences in Phoenix and NY, will adjust to the talent he has, and come up with a winning formula that doesn't revolve around the point guard position. Not to worry.......

Dude's a 38 year old frail white guy. Nash may be 175lbs. MAYBE. The only reason he was hanging on in PHX, is due to their worldclass medical staff. And even there, he had back issues that would flair up. This should be no suprise.

I am still laughing at Lakers thinking Nash is the answer.
Whatever Nash brings you on the offensive end, he gives up on the defensive end. He's 39 years old and injured. Nash is a defensive liability whenever he steps on the court. Whoever he is guarding, is going to score buckets.
If you thought the Lakers had bad defense now... just wait until Nash is starting PG.

He fractured his shone bone. If he comes back before it's healed, every step he takes while running is going to cause more damage. The shin also takes forever to heal. Has nothing to do with toughness.

This is not suprise.. not at all.
The Lakers held back that Kobe was injured severely in 2005. They held back both times that Bynum was out due to knee problems.
The Lakers always keep all info on the low to reduce reaction.. Its the epitome of Mitch Kupz M.O. Whether it be trades, injuries, or any other change.. they always keep it close to the vest.
