Re: Tim Duncan 34 pts 24 rebs 6 assists 6 blocks 2003 WCF Game 3 VS Mavericks
I uploaded this such a long time ago. Lol. Haven't used that channel since I finished my Kidd/Nash playoff performance series. Though I might add a game so my suscribers don't think I died or anything.

i actually remember watching this game. I wanted the spurs to lose so badly. it amplified every play he made, it was as if he was out to prove ME specifically wrong. the more i hated, the better he played
he's now one of my favourite players, no one does it like him, a model of efficiency. even when he's going off, he doesn't let himself get too amped, and when he's struggling its like he knows exactly what to do to correct it.

Overall, in almost every aspect of basketball, he was quicker. Duncan was more athletic and nimble than given credit for - he just wasn't out of this world stylistically. He was a league leader (top 5-10) in slam dunks every season of his prime. His range (solid shooting form), face-up game, and dribbling skills allowed him to get his shot off almost anywhere within the 3-line and fast.

Duncan is built like the perfect PF, imo.
Need a low post scorer?
Need a spot up shooter with some range?
Need a big who can run the floor?
Need a big who can spark the break with his passing?
Need a big who can pass out of the post (low and high)?
Need a big who can legitimately be an all-star at either post position?
Need a defensive anchor who can guard multiple positions?
Need rebounding, leadership, and the ability to perform in the clutch?
Duncan really doesn't have a flaw in his game, and nearly every aspect can be considered very good to great.
Sure there have better rebounder, or defenders, or players with more skilled footwork in the post (although not many) at that position, but no one has it all to the extent Duncan does.
