But Duke didn't have Marshall Plumlee.

Duke fans truly are pathetic.

Good for you, you're lurking a UNC message board. You showed me.

I don't think UNC will even be that competitive against IU. We're a borderline top 25 team right now.

You're the moron who retorted "Duke didn't have Marshall Plumlee" when I mentioned Louisville didn't have Gorgui Dieng. You're the one who made that spectacularly stupid comment. That has nothing to do with UNC or what they'll do against Indiana.

Lol. I love it when people speak it in ultimatums like this. They would've had a better chance of winning with their star big guy but there's no guarantee of a victory in a game.

That beast of a man averaging 8/8 this season. 9/9 last season.

Marshall Plumlee is much better freshmen than Mason and Miles. Miles never turned on until senior year. Mason didn't become a decent player until junior year.

Marshall is being described as the best Plumlee for a freshmen.

Rockets would have god damn won 9 straight NBA championships had McGrady and Yao stayed healthy...

This. Obviously Dieng makes Louisville a better team and would've helped tonight. He might've even been enough to help put Louisville over the top, but you can't just assume Louisville automatically wins if he plays.

You have no f***ing clue how good Marshall is because he's logged zero collegiate minutes. I'm sure people speak the world of how good Marshall looks in practice. Doesn't mean it'll translate to games, especially this early in the season.

Agreed. To further put it in perspective, Mason was also highly recruited but he sucked ass earlier on, not to mention the fact there are tons of busts yearly.

Dieng may not put up the big numbers but he's a big ass guy who is their defensive anchor. They don't have much (good) depth behind him either. It's like taking Brian Zoubek away from their recent championship run. Zoubek sucked statistically but they NEEDED his giant ass.
