Andrew Bogut remains out
Golden State center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined the next three games as he continues to build strength in his surgically repaired left ankle, the team announced Tuesday. Bogut, who had surgery in late April, has already missed the Warriors' past six games and the earliest he could possibly return is Nov. 29 against Denver. He received treatment from a specialist in Los Angeles last week and is hoping to practice with the team Monday.
Analysis: Bogut's recovery has been an arduous process as he recently missed the team's three-game road trip that concluded Monday at Dallas. He has received extensive treatment on his ankle and could progress to running on a treadmill later this week. It's possible the 27-year-old came back too quickly as he looked sluggish in the four games he's played in, while averaging 6.0 points and 3.8 rebounds a night. Bogut continues to be a Fantasy liability in the early part of the year, but should be reserved in most formats with the hopes his latest rest period helps him remain on the court.
