Haters.. What does a team/player need to do to change your mind?
Dear Haters of ISH, what would it take for the object of your disdain to be removed from that spiteful category?
In other words, what does said person or team need to do(if anything at all) in order for you to not hate them as much as you do? Or is such a claim fruitless?
I’ll start. I don’t hide that im not a fan of Blake Griffin. But in all honesty, if Blake stopped those whiney/perturbed stares he gives out all game, that right there would decrease my distaste for him greatly. He’s already noticeably working on his jumper (though its gonna take some time) which shows me hes willing to be more than just a highlight reel player. Defense still needs some work, but just looking at the fact that hes willing to get better in different aspects of the game earns my respect.
Ish is full of haters. So dont be shy now. Unless of couse you have no real basis for your hate and nothing will ever change that.
Re: Haters.. What does a team/player need to do to change your mind?
Kobe:
1. Admit that David Stern bailed him from jail
2. Admit to his crime in Colorado and go into jail
3. Admit that out of his 5 rings, all of them are tainted and the first 3 he rode Shaq's coattails (plus Stern's help) and for the last 3 he rode Pau's coattail (plus Stern's help)

He will be my favorite player after that.
lol what... so basically Kobe has basically to ruin his own life to earn you respect...

That's about all the hate I have right there.
Kobe when he played with Shaq, called him the best player or most dominant player.
When Kobe was getting interviewed after winning the Finals MVP, he gave Gasol credit for the championship.
Kobe said he couldn't win the MVP award without his teammates.
The dude gives credit to his teammates.

Melo got mad during a loss the other day
Kevin Love - Close out a 3 point shooter, throw it to Pek in the post instead of taking a 3 point shot once in a while, Understand the concept of weak side rotation and occasionally play some help defense.

Seriously OP, you'll find that in this life, there are just some people that you're simply not gonna like no matter what. Be it actors, politicians, athletes or musicians. For example, some Rock and Rap acts have been around for YEARS, yet I'd be hard pressed to even think about buying their music, even though they've won awards and all that sh!t.

Yeah, when I see the word "hate" on ISH, I know that it's being used as a slang term, and not literal "hate" like that. It's like watching a guy playing a villain in a movie, and someone says "damn, I hate that dude". I'm sure I'm a "villain" to quite a few ISHers myself.
Re: Haters.. What does a team/player need to do to change your mind?
Lebron:
-admit he jumped ship to take a shortcut to the championship
-either win a championship with only wade or only bosh, or go to his own team. otherwise he's just someone who can win with a star-stacked team.. pretty easy task. he still hasn't proven he's a champion.

100% agreed. And I love how for the Lebron example you were objective enough to not say that Lebron should give credit to his teammates (since we know that as great as Kobe and Jordan are, they are arrogant and very rarely gives credit).
And I agree with the Carmelo thing too. Just too casual. Just too busy trying to be cool. Reminds me of Tmac. No fire.
