Re: Top Ten Running Backs of the Millennium
hmm...might have to make my list later
Ricky Williams over SJax?
...that's crazy...don't even think he would make my top-10
SJax just passed Torry Holt in all purpose yardage

This is going to be an interesting debate because just like you see in bball you have that perceived ability vs. actual production.
So I could see why he might list them in that order, but I wouldn't because it's not played on paper.

Re: Top Ten Running Backs of the Millennium
It's incredible how fast a RB's career can fade, some of those names on the list went from great Backs to nothing really quick (Particularly Deuce McCalister)

You mean Frank Gore?
And Chris Johnson should not be on this list. At all.

Re: Top Ten Running Backs of the Millennium
we've had this debate before...
Gale Sayers played 5 seasons
I would have AD in there before Gale
and compare Earl Campbell's numbers to Martin's...it's not even close

Re: Top Ten Running Backs of the Millennium
Curtis Martin was never a top 3 running back at any point of his career. That's before and after the Emmitt/Barry era.

he was in 2004, perhaps a couple other years
it doesn't matter though, there were just even better RBs around...
Curtis Martin ran for 1,000+ yards

Chris Johnson shouldn't be in the top 10, Clinton Portis should.
Ahman Green didn't even make the honorable mention?

Joseph Addai
Maybe some players like Warrick Dunn and Thomas Jones should be added. Can't think of anyone off the top of my head
