D'Antoni in an interview today said "Showtime is the model" (Late 80s version with elder statesmen on the team) and that he wouldn't be running SSOL, but will be manufacturing an offense that is structured around their particular personnel, much like he did for the USA Olympic team this summer. Also said he isn't going to try and teach the team his entire offense in one week, and that he's going to let them play more freely as they learn it, like they've been playing under the interim coach.

Interesting. Still ain't winning shit if the team doesn't pick up some shooters and improves their defense. But, interesting a the same.
