Default Louisville bans a basketball player from talking to the media

Louisville sophomore forward Chane Behanan must sit out the Cardinals' exhibition opener against Pikeville on Nov. 1 and is banned from talking with the media this semester.

Coach Rick Pitino said Sunday that Behanan was involved in some unspecified "incidents" this summer and was warned that another would lead to him missing games.

I don't get it. Is this the punishment or is Pitino trying to keep it hush hush? If the latter, well it getting out like this is going backfire.

Behanan's a motor mouth. He hasn't said anything "bad," just likes to talk. He likes the attention, so it's a shut up and play deal.
