By your logic it would make sense wouldn't it? Seem to recall you being happy that Blake got injured as it would give him a break and time to rest away from basketball?

In non internet arguing terms though yeah your points good, someone coming of a back injury and onto a new team that isn't built around him doing anything he wants isn't going to put up those numbers.

I've never been "happy" about a player getting injured. I said Blake missing Olympics may be blessing in disguise since he had more time for skill work and looks like I was right because his post game, shot and defense look greatly improved.

All I'm saying is like you said... with the talent around him, him coming off an injury and not being the focal point I don't see any way he puts up those numbers. Finals MVP, All star, 1st team defense, 1st team NBA is fine... it's the stats I don't agree with being a possibility.

Probably 22 and 14. Likely around 58%, both from field and freethrow line. Don't know about FMVP, but DPOY is feasible.

He could get those stats. Playing with stars means he cant be double teamed as much and he has an actual pg that can pass to him more.

I dont think 25 14 is unrealistic especially after seeing how he played tonight.

In my opinion, he wont average 20+ ppg. The reason being I said it because he is playing with Kobe, Steve, Pau. Heck people will say he'll benefit more because of a great pg in Nash and I agree but the offense will not just focus on him.
Remember he was the superstar in his Orlando years yet he average more than 20 just twice.
