Why do you insist on playing devil's advocate? Green was one of the very rare gambles that paid off. No logic in letting that 27 year old go to take another gamble.

Bosh played the 5 spot, Miami's 4 was Shane Battier.
And Dallas always had 4 possible 3pt/shooting threats on the floor.
You need size and shooters, Teletovic is both.
You sound very stale in your thinking, like players can't have skill sets, be rated, ranked and are all "unknown/unproven" at the same level because they're from Europe.

Have you been reading the thread? How is it not logical to sign a PF when you have none instead of another wing when you have plenty? To me it's not that logical to sign a bunch of undersized 2 guards or a bunch of old guys with injury histories to fill your wing spots but to you that makes the deepest team and best rotation in basketball so I guess it's matter of opinion like anything else. It's why Billy King and his team are getting paid the big bucks and you aren't.,

You're stubborn to the point of sounding like a complete moron. Every GM around the NBA values proven talent over gambling on a positional need 9 out of 10 times. It's common to hear GM's say to sign or draft the best player available then sort out the rest later. If I was arguing that signing Green was the right decision you'd be arguing this the other way. Get off my nuts.

First you cuss me out in the Lowry trade thread and now this, you're such a freaking moron.
And you're pathetic as well, as the true coward you are you deleted your rant because you knew how stupid you are.

I don't blame him for taking the money after saying he'd take a pay cut for us. We really didn't have anything to offer him anymore except the vets min. He just got married so he probably needed the money.

Are you implying that players like Gerald Green is necessary to win titles?

The Spurs have a pretty decent track record with European nobodies. Teams are always looking for new players. You are arguing that signing Green was the right decision btw!
