The Bulls get up for these games not surprised at the loss.
9 guys tonite game went into overtime and a front end of a back to back.
Gotta rest guys somehow..
No one should play over 25 minutes tomorrow
That's mathematically impossible.
All players combined play 5*48 = 240 minutes per game.
We have 9 players available. If every of them played 25 minutes that would be 9*25 = 225 minutes. So somebody still needs to fill the 15 minutes difference (240-225).
How many last minute shots has Melo taken this year for us to declare he's no longer clutch? lol Those 2 freethrows seemed mighty clutch to me. That shot was a good look. Hit back iron. I would have liked to see something going toward the basket but w/e. Not a bad play. That OT killed us though. No execution. Melo only took 2 shots. JR was forcing it a bit but worst of all, Nate Robinson annihilated us. Jason Kidd played like absolute garbage last night and nobody seemed to want to point that out. You know I have no problems doing so. I can't, for the life of me, see why he needed to play over 35 minutes. Shumpert only played like 26 and he was perfect from the field with no TO's and a steal. Woody has to start letting this guy get some consistent minutes in crunch time.
Overall, like Knickscity said, this wasn't that bad of a loss. Both teams were hit bad with injuries and we only had 9 guys. Well 8 1/2 because James White clearly has no shot at ever being a factor for the Knicks again lol. I really don't get why we just don't cut him and sign someone who can contribute. He's done nothing all season and now Woody seems to have him in his infamous dog house.
glad we lost, no reason to be tripping like this, i was actually rooting for us to lose, but half of me wanted that streak to continue, but it is what it is and its a great thing we lost...we just have to take care of business against atlanta for the most part, this loss keeps chicago out of our playoff bracket for one day atleast, hope chicago can keep winning and atlanta keeps losing
indy/chi will be a terrible 2nd round opponent for us if we are not healthy, and if this loss mean we can take chicago out of the equation, then i gladly take it. i wouldnt be surprised if atlanta were able to take out indy either, they split the seasons series, and if we go on a slide and end up at the 3, we'd have atlanta to fall on.
coaching was terrible last night, you have 9 guys, yet you play 7 guys the whole night, against a team thats physical, and the playoffs 2 weeks away. felton gave us a scare which shows you how woodson does not know how to coach a playoff team, he drove 7 guys into the ground for no reason and can expect the same tonight
Did you actually do the math, or are you pulling those numbers from your rectum?
Durant has two games left. If Melo stays at 28.71 then Durant would need to score 104 points in the next 2 games. That's 52 per game.
If Melo has a horrible game against Indiana and scores 10 points he would be at 28.43
Even then Durant would need to score 81 points in the next 2 games to overtake him, which means 40.5 per game.
Durant isn't taking a lot of shots lately and his scoring average is dropping. Also is much tougher for him to raise his average because he's played more games than Melo. Unless something crazy happens,Melo has that scoring title locked up.
Check it by yourself if you don't trust me,it isn't hard to calculate.
