I think some of you are really taking Amare and Shumpert's injuries for granted. They didn't suffer papercuts. Derrick Rose suffered a similar injury to Shump and he still isn't back. Amare has back AND knee issues.
Amare's injury is nowhere near Shumpert's. He's been playing great in the limited minutes that he gets.
I think part of the reason that Amare doesn't start is that we don't have enough big men, and he wants Amare to back up center. In which case we have to make some roster adjustments and get someone else that can defend and rebound. Regardless of the lack of bigs, he should get more minutes that he is getting, and he should be featured over Felton. That's a no brainer.

I dont take it lightly. Also how often has all these people played together? Its going to take time not only for health but cohesiveness. I've said already I wont be critical of the team on a game to game basis. Felton, Shump just got back for 2 weeks. Its going to take time for them to get healthier and develop as a team. February is the getting to know each other month IMHO. Then March is what will the identity of this team will be.

This roster actually is trash....from #7 all the way to #40.
I don't think that's Woodson's problem. I don't think he has any grasp of the x's and o's. There's no gameplan. They used to call his Hawks offense Iso-Joe, and here it's more of the same. It's like he gets coaching advice from Stephen A. Smith.
If you think Melo is trash Knickscity, you need some medication. He's second in the league in scoring. He's carried us all year. Knock it off. And saying this roster is trash is admitting you were wrong all summer. I TOLD you this roster was trash to begin with. Don't go trying to blame the MVP candidate because the guys I TOLD you would suck decided to do just that. Maybe next time you won't drink the Koolaid. Glen Grunwald dropped the ball. Period. Let me guess. Toronto has a better roster than us too, right? And Washington has a better roster as well. We're about the same as beat up Minnesota, the last team we beat.
FOH. Our coach is just a clueless moron. He hasn't made a change in 3 months, while everyone has adjusted.
But like i said, he has 31 more games to prove his worth in my eyes.
Sorry bro, if you want him to have the credit for carrying the team, I'm surely not gonna sopare him when the one thing he is supposed to be elite at....he aint doing.
