I simply don't see this. Taking alley-oops, putbacks, and posters into consideration he's had at least 10 or 15 dunks better than this one.
As somebody who's seen each of his dunks 100 times I'm going to agree with Train. The dunk was top 5 in his career. Not only was it a poster but that much power to shake the entire support that hard.. combined with the rim hang, gorilla pose and the reaction of the fans+opponents bench? Easily top 5.

So... which of those five dunks is this better than?
The Gallo dunk. The spin and quickness was impressive but the dunk itself isn't as good IMO. Showmanship is a HUGE part of dunks and this one just had that "it" factor about it. At worst it's top 10... still one of his classics.

And you eliminate all five dunks from the second set as well?
Like I said, I'm just not seeing it. It might be a top 10 dunk for most people, but not for Blake Griffin. Won't even be top 50 by the time his career is over.

Wouldn't a top 15 dunk for his career of 1000 dunks be one of the best?
He launched from the edge of the key off a hop, moved the ball up to his chest for a right hand hammer, moved ball across to his weak hand and rams it through with tremendous power and authority.
That dunk is on an insane level for execution, skill and power.

It's better than most of the dunks you posted above.
Yeah and I am posting, obviously in reply to the quoted text within the post, which was a reply to my original post saying that it was one of his best.
Agree to disagree, but I'm talking from experience in saying that dunk is extremely difficult to perform.
