Anderson Varejao’s pump fake is a move that should never, ever work. For this reason (among others), Jordan Hill might be a little irritated with Dwight Howard right now. Inexplicably, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year took Varejao’s bait during the first quarter of LA’s latest loss. After foolishly leaping for the ball like a kitten might leap for its squeaky toy, Dwight actually had a pretty decent chance to get back in the play… but, displaying a level of energy more suited for a pickup game, he elected to stand and watch as his teammate was brutally assaulted in the paint…
