I just went on the most awesome EBay shopping spree. For $27 I got a Gerald Green rookie/jersey card, an autographed Ivan Johnson card, and a Ricky Davis Boston Celtics bobblehead.
Meyers will have to learn to make this sort of rotation a split second sooner in order to sufficiently protect the rim at the NBA level. He did the right thing here, he was simply a tad bit slow… and if the rookie had been on time then we could’ve had a real facial on our hands. Timely rotations, Meyers — they’ll make us all happier!
Honorable mention to JaVale McGee, who would’ve been the winner if Robin Lopez could run a little faster.

Throwback Poster of the Day: Chris Douglas-Roberts destroys Kevin Love...
Re: -StroShow's Daily Poster Thread 2012/13 (New Season, New Thread!)-
Much to the delight of all onlookers who don’t associate themselves with the Brooklyn Nets, Tyson Chandler was in rare form yesterday. In front of 17,732 screaming fans, Chandler energetically ran, jumped, slammed, dunked, howled, and gesticulated. His spirited play resulted in one of the best box scores of his career, as well as the following putback jam over the backs of Gerald Wallace and Brook Lopez…
Gerald never even saw it coming. That’s probably a good thing, actually. I mean, what difference would it have made? I don’t think there was a damn thing Gerald could’ve done about this (after he failed to box out), meaning that Tyson Chandler’s nuts were inevitably going to be dragged across some part of his upper body. Better the back than the face, right?

Throwback Poster of the Day: Mike Finley on The Admiral...
It always amazed me how Finley was able to rise like he did after those giant hop steps he'd always take. That one above is close to being normal but he had some where it felt like he was almost double jumping. I used to try dunking on exaggerated hop steps like that and it was a disaster. I couldn't bounce that way.
