Let's be honest. You're only trolling here to piss of Heat fans.

You know this type of guarantee is foolish as ****.

You have a lot of interesting personalities on this squad, and it could become a problem. First off, Dwight is in a contract year, and there is no way to know if he's coming back. Of course, the Lakers are going to treat him like gold, and do everything to get him to resign.... how will Kobe re-act to that? How is he going to feel when, after being the face of the organization for years, he is placed on the back-burner? Seen as a liability for the future.

I personally don't think Dwight has any intentions of staying in L.A., but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. If the Lakers don't win a championship this year, I would be my condo Dwight is gone.

I'm really not, of course I could be wrong and Lakers end f'ing it up and not living up to what they're supposed to. But why should I be playing it safe if thats what I do believe as a fan?

It's ok fool. No need to be mad. Just be happy. No need to convince people about how 'great' your franchise/franchise players are. We all know it's rigged. After all, it could be worse - you could be a fan of a small market team.

This year Lakers got the edge over the Heat and more so over OKC.

Um...if it wasn't for Kobe being gifted the most free throws he has shot in a playoff series in 5 years, OKC sweeps LAL.

Sweet revisionist history though, bro

u got 3 no.1 options for their respective teams coming to play together. much like Miami, the first year might be a test year.

well good news is u got two veterans running the show, much like the Celtics when they come together to win their ring. so this could really go either way.

like many a posters already said, there's no doubting this team's talents. It's topnotch, even when you consider their age. but problems will be chemistry, age/health, and coaching.

i would say the biggest concern will be how Kobe decides to play. one would believe that Nash will have no problem playing along Dwight and Gasol, and of course Kobe.

opposing PGs burning the Lakers' D has always been a problem. So no diff there now u got Nash. u still gonna get burn. but now u got Dwight protecting the paint.

Imo, Lakers not just obviously upgraded themselves offensively, but also on the defensive end. I agree with the OP, if healthy will be tough to beat.
Saying they are a tier above the Heat and Thunder is a little farfetch, but the Lakers are certainly more well balanced at all 5 positions.

that said, though too early to crown them the champ, the Lakers will be very good, and i won't be surprise if they take down the Heat in a 7 game series.

on a side note both the Lakers and Heat are going to be hard to beat in 2k13

How so? They now have a guy that averaged 17 last season, coming off the bench. They have another guy who is a knock down 3pt shooter that averages 8-10, those two alone are gonna average 20 off the bench.

The lakers went from one of the worst bench scoring team to a top 10. I believe they will be 7 or 8th this season in bench scoring.

I mean, thats beyond sick, the Miami trio is a complete JOKE compared to this. **** the "on paper" thing, I'm the first that will admit Lakers underachieved if they dont win it all bare no injury.
Well, a healthy Miami team is also much better than last season too.

This team will fancy their chances against anybody. We saw how close LA battled with OKC last year without Nash and dwight and a worse bench with them they will make a big difference.

The amazing frontcourt alone will hurt teams but if LA are playing well heading to the playoffs they could well be considered favourites heading into the playoffs but Miami as the champs deserve the credit they deserve heading into the season and it's up to LA to show why they are better or not but on paper this laker team is more balenced.

OKC is built perfectly to beat them.

Westbrook is the best 1v1 defender and surely he can guard an old guy like Nash. (+1 OKC)
Sefo can not guard Kobe but at least he can stay with him and bother him. (+1 LAL)
No one is stopping Durant (+1 OKC)
Ibaka can guard Pau. (Tie/Null)
Perk can guard D12 (Tie/Null)

Oh yeah, they also have Harden (+1 OKC).
