2012-13 Strength of Schedule chart: More reason to hate on Miami
Ed Kupfer, whose day job is as an advanced stats guru for the Houston Rockets, had some fun with ESPN’s projected records for teams for this upcoming season and created a strength of schedule graph
This is all based on ESPN's projections however. But it does make sense that the East is weaker than the West in most aspects. Being that Rose is out and Dwight is out of the conference too, so it should be a lot easier for the Heat to take the east this year.

I'm more pissed the patriots are getting one of the easiest schedules this year despite going to the superbowl.

Strength of schedule is bs. For the past decade Knicks have a had an "easy" strength of schedule and look at how well that turned out

Well Miami has 52 games vs the East so I guess it could be like that. And then they have 4 games vs. Charlotte, Washington, Orlando and Atlanta.

Well part of it is because the best teams cannot play themselves. No coincidence the best teams are at the bottom and bad teams at the top

Considering the Heat play the Bobcats, Wizards, Magic, and Hawks 4 times, that's not much of a surprise.

Dear God, 4 times for each team? That's 12 automatic wins right there (I think Atlanta can win maybe a game or two
)

10 easier schedules according to the graph. Good place for them to fine tune the new roster.
