This Dwight trade is a superb deal for the Lakers.... I really didn't like that
rumor about trading both Pau and Drew to get Dwight, but Drew and
a pick in 2017 for Howard is an awesome deal for LakersNation!!!

Mr. Logo trained you very well Mitch !!!!! I know you would give him
some of the credit, so I will do it here too.....

But Mitch is still the best GM in the league, IMO !!!

Thank you so much Mitch... I have been wanting to stomp MIA into the
dirt for a couple of years now... Let's get after it!!!!

respect to the Lakers front office

they didn't budge on adding Pau

they didn't cry when Orlando was dicking them around, they just went out and found new trade partners to get the deal done

we also should appreciate the stupidity of Orlando, that was just as much apart of it as Mitch and Jimmy nutting up

now go get Kenyon Martin, entice him with a chance at a ring

would be a sick 4/5 defensive combo with Howard. Both play PnR defense rather well, which is what always kills the Lakers

Exactly what I was thinking as well. I guess all the speculation of Jimmy can be put to rest, as he truly has the potential to build an empire, that of what his father used to have.

Now if only Mike Brown can pull through for me too DK, then you'll owe a beer

How can be sure it was Mitch? I wonder who was the primary mastermind or genius out of this trade? But at least we can deduce that Jim supports it, so that's a good thing.

Deals are set up by GM's not owners with the rare exception of an occasional 1 for 1 trade. There is absolutely no way in hell that a 4 team deal was created by any owner. Jimmy had to Ok it and deserves credit for doing that part.

On the Nash deal, the idea was proded by Jim.

On second thought, Jim might have initiated, but Mitch was the executioner...a damn smooth talker.

its not always the big deals as well its some of the smaller deals as well. he has really been doing a good job even under pressure.

Not to spoil the mood...but right now it's all good in paper and Dwight has not say he will sign the extension or not...so we're all praising him now...but if superman leave...some fans will probably cursing at him...and media will crucify him for making risky trade

he wont. though next year will he really walk away? i am willing to bet he will resign once he is a free agent to get the extra years and money.
