Like I said the team would be on the same pace. You also assume after trading for Bynum no other moves would be made. Good job, good effort there.
What other moves would have been made? Please give an example because I can't think of any... Maybe offer a contract to a mediocre free agent to play the 3, oh wait we did that his name is CJ Miles lmfao. We are 2-5, but we'd be 0-7 if we had made that trade.

Edit: By the time Bynum got back into the line up in January we would likely be about 20 games under .500, and a far cry from the playoffs anyways.

1. You're arguing a 2gm difference, think on that. Be thankful for 2 wins vs a injured Wizards team
2. What other moves? Who knows. A trade for Bynum changes everything. It would have taken place awhile ago. Cant sit here and map out who, what kind of silly question is that?
3. We'll see how far the Cavs are under .500 by January
4. Then we'll see how far they are from making the playoffs this season

1. Yes I am. On a team void of talent enough as it is, trading most of that talent for a player that won't play half the season is not a good strategy.
2. I can't think of a single move either, and given that most of our assets would have been traded for Bynum, unless it was through free agency a move wasn't happening.
3. I hope the Cavs are 20 games under .500 by January personally. It'd be great to see them with another great pick.

4. The problem that I have with adding Bynum is say they were 15 games out of the playoffs by January, they're on pace for a pretty damned good pick in the lotto... Until Bynum comes back, and then they miss the playoffs because they would need to go somewhere around 30-10 to get in. Say they go 25-15 in that span, and they get the 11th pick, well woopdie ****ing doo we get the 11td pick in a non deep draft, Bynum leaves, and the franchise is set back again.

Bynum was never a good option to trade for, and the injury just makes it worse.

Explain to me how is he an idiot for being injured? Because if that's the case half of this member's board must have some type of injury then?

Read what I posted. He's an idiot, not because he gets injured but because he's Andrew Bynum. He just also can't stay healthy which makes matters worse.

Noticed how posted an article that would make him appear to be an idiot and than concluded he was an idiot who can't stay healthy, can't stay healthy for obvious reasons. No f*cking clue how you connected those dots but you my friend may have one of those "injuries" you're talking about

Yeah...

It's especially funny when you consider Irving and Waiters are currently the highest scoring backcourt in the entire league as we speak... And both guys are 20.

Dion Waiters' statistics through the first couple weeks of the season...

28 minutes
15.4 points (48.8% FG, 53.1% 3PT)
2.1 assists
2.0 rebounds

More importantly than any statistics, he looks like a potential star 2 guard. Whether or not that ends up coming to fruition remains to be seen, but he seems to have an "it" factor when the lights come on and he's on the stage.

So far, joke's on you.

As for this thread, maybe Bynum will work out for the Sixers. I actually hope he does, because that could just be one more barrier in the way of that abomination down south... But, I couldn't be more thrilled that the Cavs didn't give away all of their assets for him.

Yeah, I just reloaded his ESPN.com page and it dropped. Must have been cached on my computer from before his last game.

Still... Impressive.

Funny thing is, there were a lot of the same comments being made about the Cavs picking Kyrie.

"The Cavs get the first pick in the weakest draft since 2000. "

"Cavs are stupid... Should have taken Williams and Knight. "

"Kyrie Irving will be average at best."

Maybe it is time for people to admit that our scouts are better at evaluating talent than some kid in his mom's basement.

Btw, since we're giving stats, here are Kyrie's through the first seven games...

34.7 minutes
22.9 points (47.2% FG, 45.2% 3PT)
6.3 assists
4.1 rebounds

This backcourt is looking like something special in a couple of years. Like I said... Highest scoring backcourt in the NBA through the first week of the season.
