Would you like to see the Olympics back in the US? What City?

i think it would be great if the olympics came back to the US and i think that New York would be amazing. It seems quite odd that they have never been held there

i'd like to see it in melbourne again or brisbane. within the next 20 years. i don't want to be 80 before i get another chance to go.

What about a city like New Orleans or Dallas; Not sure if NO is realistic but it would be great if it can help rebuild infrastructure.

Yea it would add alot to NO if they did it there.

I think it would be great in New York tho, New York is probably the most recognized city in the world. I still find it suprising that they havnt had it there

Nah, gotta to share it with the world. South America is only just getting it's first Olympics ever. Africa would be interesting (although I'm not sure about the infrastructure there). South/Southeast Asia would be interesting too, although same with Africa there's no city international enough there.

the main thing is the countries need to use what they build afterwards too. there is no point having a massive stadium if it is just going to cost millions in upkeep with no revenue incoming. i'm pretty sure only reasonably developed countries can realistically hold the games. it isn't just the initial cost that is the problem.

I don't really care where it's held specifically. As long the IOC doesn't take their corruption to ridiculous proportions and starts hosting games in countries like Qatar (like FIFA), I'm good.

Athens Olympics stadiums are rotting away, no matter how profitable the event is you can't fix a country with it.

If they brought the Olympics to NY, it would have to be a NY/NJ thing. There isn't enough space to build all the venues that would be needed. The basketball could obviously be done at MSG, but the soccer would probably be needed to be done at MetLife Stadium.
