I introduce to you the new Minnesota Timberwolves coach for the 2007-2008 season:

you smell that?......I smell trouble for the wolves. that is unless this guy really knows how to coach the wolves could be really in some series sh!t. Does this mean Kg will be traded soon? I hope so as he deserves a chance to be on a contending team.

I believe the next step for the troubled T-Wolves is to fire Hchale and hire someone like Kiki... just throwing a name out their.

I am a little surprised they fired Casey considering this team has had a very good improvement since last season, has two major defensive wimps in the middle (K.G. and Blount) a selfish knucklehead at the SG (R. Davis) and a phony PG stinking up the joint (M. James). Yes I know he didn't start Foye but he has yet to really learn the game and so far, he is a shooting guard drafted to play the PG position.

Pretty much. I have seen a bunch of Wolves games and his pick and roll defense is terrible, he rotates late or he doesn't rotate at all. In the post, any player with some bulk can totally push him around and score close the basket. I remember one game when they played the Magic and Dwight Howard and Darko Milicic easily had their way scoring on Garnett.

I always wondered why KG never gained any additional weight and play at 260 lbs instead of 235 lbs. It would have increased his effectiveness offensively and would help him defending a post player defensively.

btw, Randy Wittman's son, Ryan, is a star player at Cornell University averaging 15.5pts while shooting 44% (55-126) from 3 in 17 games played so far.

Chuck Daly won't coach again. He gave that up.
