Count me in the camp that likes both, but I would also take Chappelle over Griffin. Both of them are funny in their own right, but Chappelle is much more of a thinking man's comedian.

There have been thousands of stand-ups; ergo, that 1% of performances better than Dave's "Killin' Them Softly" don't limit themselves to a mere 10. There are definitely dozens funnier, but that just means they are funnier than 99% of stand-ups, too.

By 99%, that means you think it's one of the all time great performances caught on tape.
You didn't say 50%, hell not even 75% you said 99%. That basically means you think Killin' Them Softly is in the upper echelon of stand up performances.
