I've already been contacted by a couple of people asking me if they could get in the league this year. I don't think we will have any problem getting our 12.
It is just that people seem really anxious to get things started this year. Usually, we don't really start getting serious about putting it together until late-July/early-August.
A lot of posters aren't even to the point where they check the football forum all that frequently.

So I work Mon-Fri at night and don't have Internet at my house...so let's make sure we schedule this draft on a weekend night where homie can get to his moms crib and use the computer.
I work a lot of Sundays and my schedule changes from week-to-week.
It is really too early to discuss these kinds of minor details, though... Rest assured... We will find a date/time that works for everyone. It has never been an issue in the past. Anyone who buys in will have a voice in deciding the draft time.
I think Aug 1 would be a good day to have our 12 guys set. $100 buy in by Aug 15 along with a draft date. Then payouts/restrictions/positions etc. talk up until draft time. So you can't vote on league rules until you've paid.
That 2 weeks between 1st and 15th gives guys time to get their money together + time to find replacements in case guys go MIA, don't have the money, or can't make draft time.
