I assume Mayo would be targetted if NOLA match.

As for Oden and Roy. I wouldn't want to see Oden offered anything other than the min, perhaps he might take it for a chance to get healthy with Aaron Nelson and the crew.

I think Roy could be a locker room problem if he's getting bench minutes on a low seed/lottery team which we will likely be next season.

Sources briefed on talks say Lakers' reported S-and-T push for Nash blocked to date by Suns brass. Can't stomach dealing him to old rival

Good shit, sign and trade him to the Knicks and lets move on now. Also, who knows anything about jerseys? Will Nash's jersey increase or decrease with his departure, or stay constant? I have his old school one and a purple one, I'm thinking they'll stay constant because hes a Suns legend but hoping it dips down a little bit since I want to get a Home jersey and the orange one.

I think if we want to go for Oden we should wait another year. He should just take this year off.

Michael Beasley is visiting with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, marking his second meeting with the club since the free-agency period began Sunday, sources said.

Beasley, an unrestricted free agent, flew to Phoenix to meet with the Suns on Wednesday. The Suns flew to Los Angeles to meet Beasley earlier this week.

Beasley
Sources say the Suns are likely to make the talented small forward a contract offer before he leaves town.

While Beasley has been dogged by bouts of immaturity throughout his four-year career, the Suns are not scared off by his reputation and instead are fond of him as a player and a person, according to sources.

Suns general manager Lance Blanks has a history of working with troubled players dating back to his time as an executive with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Blanks was instrumental in bringing volatile guard Delonte West to the Cavs and continues to have a strong relationship with him.

With star point guard Steve Nash on the verge of joining another club, the Suns have emerged as one of the more active teams in free agency.

In addition to courting Beasley and working on potential sign-and-trade deals with New York and the Los Angeles Lakers for Nash, the Suns offered New Orleans shooting guard Eric Gordon a maximum $58 million over four years.

While some sources say New Orleans will match the offer for Gordon, others say Gordon's public statements about preferring Phoenix to New Orleans could potentially lead to discussions on a sign-and-trade deal between the clubs.

Nothing yet but as many of you might have seen in the NBA forum, Nash has been traded to the Lakers for some picks.

I have been a fan of seeing Nash go so we can rebuild but I never wanted to see him in a Lakers Jersey.. I'm a little sickened.

Gambo broke the trade on his twitter

Gambo620

I'm hoping these get used to trade for Gordon with NOLA

Beasley might be OK if Hill sticks around and teaches him to smarten up.

Very reasonable, I agree.

Really hoping Grant Hill stays now, though.
