Damn. Seems really nice for that price. I've never owned anything Android, but I think I wanna get this. Perfect size and price. The Kindle Fire is the same price and doesn't look nearly as good.
No. If you have any tech sense at all, you'll get Android. Way more customization. iPad forces you to use itunes, no sd cards, no usb, nothing. It sucks.

Well this doesn't have an SD card which is REALLY disappointing to me. It also has a micro-USB, not a regular USB. With an SD or microSD slot I would've pre-ordered it already, 8 GB or 16 GB is alright... but I know with my phone I've had it at the max memory since I got it and it's really frustrating having to delete apps and sort through which music to put... and that's without ANY movies on it. I seriously regret not getting the 32 GB. On my phone I'll never watch videos, but on a tablet I'd constantly watch.
But it's not a deal breaker, it's just annoying and I'd rather pay the extra $50 (the cost to get 16 GB over 8) for an SD cart slot so I could have the luxury of keeping some movies on them and having essentially unlimited memory. I guess with all the cloud storage now, it aint too bad though.
I'm really curious about Android. I've never owned an android product and have a bunch of apple stuff.
apparently its only for tablets though..that version of android will prolly not be ported to smartphones
Really? Odd. I thought Google say 4.0 ICS was the beginning of have Android more streamlines to smartphones/tablets. having 4.1 only for tablets totally contradicts that I feel.
4.1 is for phones too. I'm running it on my galaxy nexus. Its quite good. They've really done a good job in improving the fluidity of the interface. Google now is pretty good too. Although it won't be something that will be useful for everyone

yeah i think i'm wrong..i just read from somewhere that they tested jelly bean on the galaxy nexus
I was actually sold on the Asus Transformer Infinity, but this thing is 1/3 the price. It's still a quad core tegra 3 as well. Veeerrrryyyy interesting. I'll be giving this a strong consideration.
