Re: Are people still rung up on how the bulls were successful in the regular season...
Bulls fans were Delushional and thought teams wouldn't be able to adjust to cj Watson. Regular season ALOT of teams just coast till the end and just secure playoff seeds specially this year

Everyone knows that Rose is their best player and essential to their success, their regular season record with him was better than without him, but it did prove that he had a good cast. But that was obvious to me because they were the best defensive team and rebounding team. Outside of just what Rose brought on the court, I think the injury itself being career-threatening and putting more of a ceiling on the team was devastating, which is why I don't really think the playoff series was representative of what that group of players could truly do without Rose, and they did have other players who were banged up. Lets also not forget that Philly was playing very well early in the season so they're a capable team with good depth and an elite defense. They really gave Boston a tough series too.
I don't see what's so complicated. It's pretty obvious to me that Rose is a very good player who makes the Bulls a much better team, but he also has quite a bit of help.

the bulls are a regular season team, not a playoff team. and lets be real, derrick rose is basically the only guy on that team that can create their own shot. meanwhile the spurs, heat, thunder, celtics all have 2-3-4 guys that can create for themselves and others.
