It isn't. But fans aren't those who decide who will the Knicks sign.
Dolan is.
And for Dolan money is at the first place.
Truth.
Jeremy Lin is such a huge cash cow for the Asian market worldwide. Just off of him being a starting PG in the NBA it brings in so much attention/revenue to the Knicks that any owner whether its Dolan in NY or cheap Robert Sarver in Phoenix would never let him go. I wouldn't either.
You can almost guarantee by the time we start next season that every single advertisement involving the Knicks will feature Jeremy Lin. Melo & Amare are going to be dogged out this offseason for this loss to Miami.
Im just waiting to see how long it takes for one of the columnists to suggest we trade Melo & Amare and re-build around Lin.
We've got the 48th pick in the 2012 Pick NBA Draft.
I'd love to keep the 48th pick to grab Scott Machado from Iona & possibly buy a late 1st or early 2nd Rounder to get John Jenkins from Vanderbilt.
Yea Scott can ball. He can really dish the rock...obviously. I would like to see him in the pre-draft camps against the big name competition.
What are we going to do with our mid-level? Better yet, who would YOU like to see us get with out MLE? We all know it's probably going to go to Lin.
My pops says give it to Raymond Felton.
I say give it to OJ Mayo (remember when I said trade Landry for OJ back when Landry was overachieving? A lot of people said I was crazy).
OJ plays D, can handle the ball, can shoot and will be hungry to prove he's still worthy of being in someone's starting lineup. He's also only 25 yrs old
O you mean that guy I've been clamoring for for the last 3 years? Yea I'd take him. Jerryd Bayless too!
I'd stay away from Flynn. That hip surgery changed him.
I checked the box scores and saw they were giving him minutes as they tanked away their season, so I caught the replays for 3 of their games.
Hard to belive a guy can become a shell of himself at like 22. He used to be so fast & explosive to the basket coming off of picks but that looks to be gone. Jonny isn't quick enough to beat his man to the basket anymore and he's just relying a lot on his jumpshot now.
