Houston making moves... they're always making moves.

Quote:
The Rockets have traded Samuel Dalembert and the No. 14 pick to the Bucks in exchange for the No. 12 pick, Jon Brockman, Jon Leuer and Shaun Livingston.
This seems like a slam dunk for Milwaukee. The draft pick difference is minimal, Brockman and Leuer are both low-end NBA power forwards (an overflowing position for the Bucks), Livingston was expendable, and the Bucks address their most glaring roster need: a quality starting center. Dalembert (who will earn $6.7 million in the final year of his deal) immediately slots into the C position ahead of Ekpe Udoh, Larry Sanders and Drew Gooden, and he should easily exceed the 22 minutes per game he averaged for Houston last season.

Well Dale is gone... i think franchize likes him.

Quote:
The Kings have reportedly rejected Houston's offer of Kyle Lowry and the 16th pick for the No. 5 pick and Chuck Hayes.
The Rockets are desperately trying to move into the Top 5 for tomorrow night's draft, but have been unable to do so thus far.

Too bad the Knicks cant afford him.
Quote:
Jamal Crawford officially informed the Trail Blazers that he will opt out and become a free agent this summer.
This is not surprising, but it does mean that the Blazers won't be able to trade him and Crawford will be free to sign with whatever team he chooses. There are rumors that he could end up in Minnesota, but his options are basically wide open at this point.

I hope the Knicks give him a call.

Kevin Martin is not interested in re-signing with the Rockets after this season, a source tells Sam Amick.
Martin's expiring contract has long been viewed as a trade chip, and it's not all that surprising that the veteran doesn't want to make his long-term future in Houston. He and coach Kevin McHale have not seen eye-to-eye since McHale came in, and it would not be a shock to see Martin moved to a different destination before the 2012-13 season begins.

Too bad we cant afford that contract.

I know people like to conveniently blame the players but for a team that overachieved with mediocre talent under Ric Adelman, seems like everyone is getting into it with Kevin McHale. At some point you have to say "maybe it's him." It's not exactly like he's had the greatest track record as a coach and he did bump heads with a lot of guys in Minnesota too.

Sure did. O well

I would have done this deal in a hearbeat if I was the Kings. They must have someone in mind that they covet at that 5th pick. The only pg that I think will be better than Lowry any time soon is Damian Lillard.

I don't think we can afford Crawford. I'd love to give it a try though. I'm with you. The worst he can say is no. Maybe hell F-in No.

Yea when we got Chandler we officially took ourselves out of the running for guys like that. A Chandler, Fields, Douglas, Harrelson for Martin, Lowry and Dalembert was a trade I wanted to explore.

Out of these three?

I'll take the big body that most likely will not escape the draft.

Honestly I don't think Machado and James will be drafted.

I like young the most out of the four, but you can find shooters almost anywhere.

I don't know anything about either of those guys. I want to draft a guard, maybe even try to somehow move up or get another pick by getting rid of Douglas.

Wasted a pick...Great....Just Great.

Machado sitting right fukkin there! DJO, Kev Jones, Alex Young and you get a guy who wont even show up. Even if he does, he's not gonna leave Europe to play for chump change.

Oh my f*cking god....

We drafted a European SMALL FORWARD. THE ONE POSITION WHERE WE DON'T NEED HELP.

Jesus Christ, I actually really liked O'Quinn who went in the next pick and Machado was also an option. This is just pathetic.

Hey Franchize, I had a feeling some of those guys wouldn't get drafted.

Now the team can actually put some guys on the SL roster and see what they got.

Those dudes will be hungry, just what we need.

I have no issue with the Euro either.

He's an asset for later on.

We better contact Scott Machado, Kevin Jones, Henry Sims, William Buford, Hollis Thompson, & Drew Gordon. I probably could put together a Summer League team off of all of the guys I was hoping we'd get at 48.

Grunwald needs to stop f*cking around and realize that as Knicks fans we're not playing the game of being patient anymore. Our time to win is now and we need to try to put the best possible team we can if we're going to challenge Miami for the East crown.
