It was guys going for the ball in a tight game. Should have let them play it out and see who comes up with it and let the game play out. No need to blow a foul there.

Rondo was dead wrong, however, in thinking it should have been a jump ball. It wasn't a jump ball situation.

i dont rmbr off the top of my head but i think he had to reach for the ball from behind the back to make it a jump ball case...i dont really like that aspect of a jump ball situation because you're all over the opponents back trying to get position.

if it were in front and bass had a hand to it, jump ball indeed
