Meta World Peace : Megalomania or The real thing ?
Quote:
"When I got traded from Indiana to Sacramento [in 2006], that team was in last place," he said. "I got there, we got to the All-Star break and I said we were going to the playoffs and everybody laughed. We went to the playoffs and almost beat San Antonio, but I twisted my ankle.
"In Houston, same thing. Tracy [McGrady] got hurt and I started taking a leadership role. They didn't get out of the first round in 12 years, but I helped them [in 2009]. It's not like it's something I'm unfamiliar with.
"I've been in situations where they had to double-team, sometimes triple-team me, and I've had to focus and get my team together and win games. I've been in this situation before."
"Now that Fish is gone … I've got to talk a little bit," he said.
Is he the real thing or suffering from megalomania. Bear in mind he's been injured since last season and only now has been getting better thanks to hi sbody going back in form.
Re: Meta World Peace : Megalomania or The real thing ?
He was really good back in day. Not most skilled or athletic beast at offense but he could able to use his strenght and he had decent behind 3 point shot. He was a beast at defense. I remember those Spurs series.. He & especially Bonzi Wells were killing Spurs.

Re: Meta World Peace : Megalomania or The real thing ?
He has had a great couple of games and more surprising is they've been consecutive. Ron has had some good games as a Laker but he never really strung good games together like this. Don't know if he can keep it up but if he does we're getting to the finals.
