Save money - they didn't take back a contract so they don't have to pay whatever is left to LB.

They aren't in playoff contention. Won't have to pay Barbosa and can use the pick on an international player to stow away for a few years.

Meh. We already have a ton of guards and Barbosa isn't all that good. At least he's expiring and didn't cost much. Not excited.

I was hoping we would trade Barbosa. We didn't need him. He needed to go to a playoff team. Good move BC.

Barbosa is sh!t for a team like Toronto. Perfect fit on Indy where they won't have to rely on him for scoring so if he's playing crap they can just bench him for the game, but if he's on he can drop 15-20 and push them thru droughts.

I'd have taken a future conditional 2nd rounder, the important thing was to get rid of him.

Absolutely not. I don't really expect Barbosa to be a regular rotation player.
