I would give Frings the MOTM. Rock solid defending all night and composed on the ball to calm down all the youngsters all night, and nothing needs to be said about his assist on the Silva goal, world class delivery.
For TFC side, absolutely. Frei was terrible last night and Frings saved his ass so many times. I should have been 5-2 at least if Frings wasn't there.
Basically, Frings and Rogers Centre's artificial turf gave TFC a draw so we have to thank them both.
Tough result for TFC.. They'll be a good team this season but I think it's better that LA won as they have the better chance of going farther than TFC. It's the greatest good

LA didn't win. It's 2-2 going back to Los Angeles. lol
The second match between TFC and Galaxy next week in Carson, CA will have a totally different atmosphere compare to the game last Wednesday. For some contractual reasons with Cal State University, Home Depot Center will be capped at 7,500 on Wednesday night, one forth of its full capacity.
Home Depot Center is built in Cal State campus and the university seems to be able to call the shot. It will be their school-night and they want more parking spots.
But if you want to blame someone, blame Galaxy management since they had four months to make sure their home field can be used at its fullest capacity or they could play at some other available stadiums nearby instead in this situation
